These icy blue hues mixed with snow white remind me of the way the snow can have a subtle blue hue to it when you dig into it. Named after June Lake which is a tiny little lake that was formed by a 2,000 year old lava flow and features a mysterious flowing waterfall and is best seen during the winter. June Lake is deeply magical, and my intentions for this pillow are to imbue the deep stillness and quite that comes with the forest when covered in snow. The way snow falls, and how it feels to cast your gaze upward as it spirals down from the heavens...yes..some of that.
This pillow is made from recycled Pendleton wool from the Pendleton Woolen Mills here in Portland. Woven with hemp twine and filled with more recycled wool blanket trimmings, this mediation pillow is 90% Earth forward and almost zero waste.
